Kōkua Mau is Hawaii’s Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, a community benefit, non-profit organization, based in Honolulu. The many aspects of our work are presented in this short video. Kōkua Mau helps seriously ill people and their loved ones to understand decisions they may need to make and prevent crisis, reduce stress and get the care they want and need.
We encourage everyone to have conversations with loved ones about what is important to you, including your wishes for care if you cannot speak for yourself.
We know these are not easy conversations but they are some of the most important you will ever have. We have a variety of resources and tips for having conversations (see menu to the left) and are happy to send a speaker to your group or answer questions.
