Meeting Schedule

The Kōkua Mau Monthly Meetings are open to everybody interested in our work. We currently meet on zoom only from 3-5 PM on the last Thursday of each month (except for a combined November-December meeting). The theme for the meeting is announced in our newsletter.

We usually have guest speakers or discuss a specific issue relevant for our community such as: “The use of the ACP Decisions Videos or Marshallese Attitudes towards Death and Dying”.  Examples of past topics are found on the monthly meeting page.

Formerly known as the  Programs & Advisory Group, our meetings are open to all and a good opportunity for networking and learning what is happening in our community.  Please contact us to learn more. Joining by zoom is an option for those on other islands. (Please give us at least one week advance notice, so we can set up the technical part.)

Bimonthly Palliative Pupus

Palliative Pupus is a clinical case discussion open to all practitioners.  Neighbor island participants can call in and participate either by phone or video.  This is a bi-monthly event every third Wednesday of the month.

We continue meeting virtually on zoom and hybrid in 2025. Every second meeting is in person at the QCC offering a hybrid format, to include neighbor islands. See our Palliative Pupus page for the tentative schedule.

Please join us from 5:15 PM – 7:00 pm on zoom and/or every second meeting at the Queen’s Conference Center for Palliative Pupus . Details about Palliative Pupus.

  • Please bring pupus to share
  • We meet upstairs in Room 200
