December 2017: Kupuna Caregivers Program – Unique in the Country

Working caregivers who pay for services to support their kupuna may now be eligible for financial help of up to $70 per day to cover the cost of adult day care, chore services, home-delivered meals, homemaker services, personal care, respite, or transportation. – Read more

Congratulations to Adventist Health Castle for winning the 2017 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award

Castle is the first hospital in Hawaii, or the first organization of any kind in Hawai‘i, to receive this distinction. Adventist Health Castle is one of only five 2017 recipients and a long time Kōkua Mau member and supporter. – more

July  2015:  Kōkua Mau hosted ‘Clinical Advances in the Art and Science of Care’, a virtual conference.

March 2015: POLST Training for professionals in Hawai‘i conducted by Kōkua Mau.

Sept. 2014, Hawaii Public Radio aired an interview with Jeannette Koijane on Kōkua Mau.

Kōkua Mau has been honored with the 2013 Trailblazer Award by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
