The Kōkua Mau Monthly Meetings are open to everybody interested in our work. We currently meet from 3-5 PM on the last Thursday of each month (except for a combined November-December meeting) at Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin in Honolulu.
We usually have guest speakers or discuss a specific issue relevant for our community such as: “The use of the ACP Decisions Videos or Marshallese Attitudes towards Death and Dying”. Examples of past topics are found on the monthly meeting page.
Formerly known as the Programs & Advisory Group, our meetings are open to all and a good opportunity for networking and learning what is happening in our community. Please contact us to learn more.
Joining by telephone is an option for those on other islands. (Please give us at least one week advance notice, so we can set up the technical part.)
