Hospice and Palliative Care Social Work Group Meeting

Social workers from the field of hospice and palliative care are invited for a discussion about the book Trauma Stewardship: An Everyday Guide to Caring for Self While Caring for Others by Laura van Dernoot Lipsky and Connie Burk.

Even if you have not read the book, please join them for discussion about the toll that the work we do can have on us in the helping profession and the value of self care.

For each time they meet, as time and interest permits, they would like to have discussion about what is happening in each of our places of employment, resources we are using and finding helpful, cases that we would like to collaborate on and anything that we are learning that is making an impact on the work we do.

This Hospice and Palliative Care Social Work Group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month at:
