The MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care will present a free, live webinar “Culturally Competent, Inclusive Palliative and Hospice Care – LGBTQ Adult”

The free webinar is designed to provide useful strategies in the practice of effective and empathic communication around sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression information for all patients and, most especially, the older LGBTQ adult.
According to MJHS, all clinical and nonclinical staff need to understand and recognize the lived experiences of the LGBTQ population, and mitigate implicit biases towards them. This is a free, live webinar for nurses and social workers, and continuing education (CE) credit is available, but all are welcome.
