Farewell to Ken Zeri who will retire from Hospice Hawaii
Ken Zeri, Kōkau Mau’s own and its board president for many years, will retire from Hospice Hawaii as President and Chief Professional Officer after more than 31 years of service in hospice care. Ken has been a strong voice for hospice care in Hawaii and nationally, serving on the NHPCO board for the last several years.
The Hospice Hawaii board of directors has selected Tori Abe as its new President and CPO, effective December 1, 2017. Tori is currently Chief Strategy Officer at Hospice Hawaii, where she oversees marketing and fundraising, admissions, leadership, special projects and strategy development. She was responsible for developing a community relations strategy and new brand identity that has resulted in increased awareness and understanding of hospice. As a member of the senior leadership team, Tori also directed development and implementation of operational improvement, resulting in improved quality of care and collaboration throughout the organization.
Congratulations Tori and good luck in your new adventures Ken.
