Hawaii POLST Legislation Timeline page added

We just added a dedicated POLST Legislation Timeline.

It provides quick access on how the Hawaiʻi POLST legislation was implemented and continuously improved since Act 186, Hawaiʻiʻs first POLST legislation back in in 2009.

Our Kōkua Mau website is the central source for POLST information for Hawai‘i.

POLST (Provider Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) is a portable medical order that takes effect as soon as it is signed. It can follow you from home into a medical setting, and after discharge to your home or other setting such as a nursing or care home.
