Kōkua Mau is this year again hosting a palliative care conference: “Overcoming the Challenges of Community-Based Palliative Care”. The 2 half-days, high quality, state of the art live-streamed conference on July 17 and 18, in Honolulu.

The conference will address key clinical practice and program development challenges, providing practical solutions to ensure the delivery of exceptional quality care and the success of community-based palliative care.
2019 Virtual Conference Objectives:
At the completion of this conference, participants will be able to:
- List two or more key challenges in the development and delivery of community-based palliative care;
- Identify strategies to enhance the efficient and effective development of community-based palliative care programs/services;
- Describe two or more practical solutions to clinical challenges encountered in the delivery of community-based palliative care.
