This year the 2019 Mitsuo Aoki Community Service Award will be given to three outstanding individuals who have together over 60 years in the hospice field: Felicia Marquez-Wong, Kathy Hallock and Gary Simon. Together they have served thousands of families during the end of life journey, have helped to educate hundreds of end of life practitioners in Hawaii and created the Bereavement Network of Hawaii.
Aunty Lynette Kahekili Kaopuiki Paglinawan, is our invited presenter this year. She is a highly respected Hawaiian Cultural healing practitioner and will share a Hawaiian perspective on holistic healing and end of life care. We are so grateful to have her share her deep understanding and knowledge with us.
