2018 Oahu Workshop series for Dementia Caregivers at Kahala Nui – Positive Approach to Dementia Care
March 9, 2018 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm HST
The workshops will be held from February through July, 2018 at Kahala Nui.
This workshop series is brought to you by Hawaii Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative (HADI) and Kahala Nui.
In their continuing commitment to honor and increase resources for caregivers of someone with memory loss, they are repeating the (sold out in 2017!) series of 6 excellent, interactive training workshops that will improve skills and empower them in their role.
The trainer is again Dorothy Colby, a Certified Positive Approach to Dementia Care™ Trainer and national mentor, with over 20 years of professional and personal experience caring for people with dementia. She is Administrator for Hale Kuike Nuuanu, a Memory Care Home.
