DESCRIPTION:Kōkua Mau Virtual Monthly Meeting – Last one of 2020 \n\n\n\nThur Dec. 33-5 PM \n\n\n\nWe will be sharing a Keynote address from Dr. Ira Byock at the recent national CTAC meeting. Dr. Byock\, who has spoken in Hawai‘i for many years\, made an excellent presentation about the crises in which we currently find ourselves and the changes that must come to address equity\, health disparities and the need for all health workers to get a living wage.  \n\n\n\nFollowing this excellent presentation\, there will some other short videos from various national leaders at the C-TAC meeting that is a national coalition to improve care for those with serious illness. \n\n\n\nThen we will give some updates on palliative care in Hawai‘i and how you can get involved\, bereavement in the holidays and other activities.
