DESCRIPTION:We’d like to invite you to our virtual Palliative Pupus\n\n\n\nIn September 2024 we are zoom only.  \n\n\n\nThis month Hospice Maui will present a recent pediatric case that involved a complicated medical transport discharge plan from Kaiser Moanalua NICU to home on Maui and care coordination with the pediatric palliative team on Oʻahu. \n\n\n\nOur exciting local bi-monthly networking and clinical education opportunity on zoom.  Come participate in an interactive interdisciplinary story from the cutting edge of hospice and palliative care and mingle with colleagues from all over the islands on zoom. If you are involved with palliative care cases\, you are invited. Please tell your colleagues and friends.  \n\n\n\nWe will continue to meet virtually on zoom in 2024. In addition we meet every second month in person at the QCC and offer a hybrid zoom format. To include neighbor islands we will remain on zoom in a hybrid format. \n\n\n\nThe topic and zoom registration link will be announced in our September newsletter prior to the meeting.

DESCRIPTION:We’d like to invite you to our virtual and in person Palliative Pupus\n\n\n\nWe’d like to invite you to our hybrid Palliative Pupus. \n\n\n\nWe will be presenting a complex case of a recent patient who was admitted to hospice but subsequently revoked services. There are several facets of this case that complicated his care\, particularly his desire to pursue hospice while his family hesitated to accept end-of-life care. All are welcome as we discuss the case and learn how others address such challenging cases. \n\n\n\nWe will meeting in person at Queen’s Conference Center (OCC) again. We hope you will join us to see colleagues in person and eat real pupus. Please bring something to share!! \n\n\n\nValidated parking for the Miller St. Parking lot (Miller only) at the QCC front desk. It is good for palliative care practitioners to learn and increase skills. It is also an excellent opportunity to learn about what palliative care really is and what our amazing colleagues actually do.
