DESCRIPTION:It is this time of the year again and we will celebrate Oncology on Canvas! A time to get together and use art to express our unique oncology journey. The most important is that you show up and use the art supplies creatively. If you can please call and register to help them make sure there will be enough food and art supplies and all events\, but everyone is welcome\, registered or not. \nOncology on Canvas helps people living with cancer and those that love and care for them to cope with disease through art. No previous art experience is needed\, there are no age restrictions and everyone is welcome!! \nThe Queen’s Medical Center\nSaturday\, 20 April\n9 am – 3 pm\nQueen Emma Tower 7th floor\nPlease call Darlene Sardinha at 808-691-8984 to RSVP. \nKaiser\nSaturday\, 20 April\nTBA \nMay 6-22 Art exhibit\nArt exhibit from Queens\, Kaiser\, Kapi‘olani and Tripler will be at Honolulu Hale \nReception Honolulu Hale\nTuesday\,  May 7\n4-6 pm \nGuest artists will be attending. Short program to include hula and songs by survivors. \nArt Therapy provides a way for cancer patients and their loved ones to express unspoken and often unconscious concerns about their illness and their life. We’ve assembled a group of art instructors\, student volunteers and staff to help participants express their personal journey on canvas. Art supplies will be provided for the day of the event.
