DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our monthly meeting\, to learn\, laugh\, mingle and network. \nOctober Kokua Mau meeting on November 1st: \nThe October meeting will now be held on November 1. The topic is “A Caring Community: Jewish Rituals for End of Life” and the presenters will be Rabbi Ken Aronowitz and Alice Lachman. \nRabbi Ken Aronowitz is the Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El.  Helping others feel closer to the Shechina or Divine Presence\, serving God and creating a Kehillah Kedoshah (a sacred community) continue to be the focus of Ken’s rabbinate. \nDr. Alice Wahl Lachman is an educator who has helped initiate an inter-congregational Chevra Kadisha (sacred society) to honor Jewish rituals related to death and dying. \nThurs.
