This month: Hospice Maui’s Interdisciplinary Team will share the story of an adolescent patient who was admitted to pediatric hospice under concurrent care\, allowing continued disease-directed treatment alongside hospice interdisciplinary team support. As the patient’s condition stabilized\, care transitioned to Hawaiʻi Med-QUEST’s Community-Based Palliative Care program\, highlighting how these complementary programs provide continuity of care and support for children and families as their needs change. \n\n\n\nWed Oct 21\, 20265:15 -6:30 PM HST \n\n\n\n\nHere is the zoom registration link for Palliative Pupus\n\n\n\nAfter registering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting\n\n\n\n\nPalliative Pupus is a unique opportunity to hear about a palliative care case. It is also an excellent opportunity to learn about what palliative care really is and what our amazing colleagues actually do. Cases usually involve a range of practitioners including doctor\, nurse\, chaplain and social workers and cover physical\, emotion and spiritual issues.
