Project Dana Announces a New Caregiver Support Group in Waipahu

Are you caring for an elder?

Caregivers who are caring for an older adult 60 years old or older are invited. The person being cared for must be living in the community.

Topics to be covered will include caregiver burnout, self-care strategies, community resources, age related diseases, fall prevention education, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementia, legal topics, and others. Please let us know of topics most relevant to you as a caregiver.

Initially, the support group meetings will be held once a month (on April 13, May 11, and June 8, 2019). Thereafter, meetings will be held every 2nd Saturday of the month.
