Cost: $20/$10 (students) includes refreshments & lunch
Have questions answered regarding:
- care giving
- specific illnesses
- legal/finacial issues
- religious/spiritual concerns and procedures
- and etiquette at Buddhist funerals.
Presentations will be given by Bishop Eric Matsumoto, Rev. Earl Ikeda, Rev. Tatsuo Muneto (Hongwanj ministers), Chaplain Sherman Thompson (Kamehameha Schools), Chaplain Clarence Liu (formerly with Hospice Hawaii), Dr. Aki Morita (Hospice Hawaii family), Jeannette Koijane (Kokua Mau), Dr. Darcy Ing (Counseling and Spiritual Care Center of Hawaii).
Breakout sessions will follow with discussions on various end-of-life concerns followed by lunch and further discussion.
Bus transportation from the Betsuin to Wahiawa will be provided on a first come- first served basis at a cost of $5. The bus departs at 7:30A.M.
