We are hosting our second virtual palliative care conference ‘Creating the Future of Palliative Care". Hosted by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) on February 18 & 19, 2015  in Hawai’i.

We meet at HMSA at 7:30 am HST (12:00 noon EST) to watch the live stream together. Details about handouts, the room and parking will be sent to registered participants. Seating is limited, sign up today.

The conference takes place entirely online in "real time," live streaming through the Internet from 7:30 am-12:45 pm HST. You can save the cost of travel and participate in a national conference to increase your skills and knowledge and qualify for continuing education credits.

Virtual Event Objectives

At the completion of this event, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the foundations of  community-based palliative care
  • Identify legal and regulatory components of community-based palliative care
  • Describe coding, billing and financial aspects of community-based palliative care
  • Distinguish successful community-based models

A discounted registration fee of $40 per day ($65 both days) is offered to all Kōkua Mau members.

Non members pay $60 per day ($100 for both days). If your employer is a member, you qualify for a Kōkua Mau discount. Check who is a member.
